For this podcast, David Pratt interviewed Bharat Krishnan, author of Confessions of a Campaign Manager, which is available on Amazon as a Kindle book or paperback. In his book, Bharat illuminates some hard truths about how the country got to the point where Donal Trump’s nomination was not just possible, but inevitable.
Bharat got his start by volunteering to work on Senator Jim Webb’s campaign against the then sitting senator Republican George Allen. He then went on to volunteer on Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. He went on to work as a campaign manager for 17 Democratic campaigns in 9 states.
Bharat discussed the current political climate and how grass roots activists in Virginia can be most effective in supporting candidates running for statewide office and the Virginia House of Delegates in 2017.
